After Saturday’s white outs and strong winds we wondered if we would be shooting at all, but it turned out to be quite a nice February 26th.  There were some cold trigger fingers in the morning.  We had a respectful attendance, certainly enough to generate some new excuses.  Did you hear the excuse about the “slow operating rod”?  I’m willing to bet that is a new one!

We were pleased to welcome new member and shooter Carl Campbell, he didn’t have to shoot the top score for service rifles.  We will have to forgive him for that.  Normally we ask new shooters take it easy on our egos.

Remember you can check your scores on the Springs Rod & Gun Club web site:  www.springsrodandgunclub.org or check out the Gem City Gun club web site: www.gemcitygunclub.org.

Thanks again for coming today.

Pete Mathews (398-4368)    Dave Dunkle   (398-4052)
