Here are the results for the October High Power Rifle Match at the Springs Rod and Gun Club.  Nate Hunter finally got the win he's been after and was our High Scorer of the match and the winner of the National Match Class.  Dave Dunkle tied Nate, but lost the race in the tiebreaker X count.  Dan Gruver, with his WW2 Bolt action Springfield 03/A3, won the Service Rifle Section of the match and had the highest Slow Prone score of the day despite the old iron sights.
We were pleased to have a few Junior shooters today.  Graham Dunkle shot his first match with a full size target AR15 and came in second in the Service Rifle Class.
We welcomed a young new shooter in the .22 class today, 8 year old Landyn Shabloski, and his coach, Grandpa Shabloski.  Landyn's score kept improving with each stage of the match, and he seemed to be having a blast.  Even at the end of the day he was still running back and forth down to the 100 yard targets.
This was our last High Power Match of the season, and we sure enjoyed getting together.  I also want to thank everyone for pitching in and helping at every match, and Pete and Martha Mathews in particular for extra help and lunch.
Remember, our annual Bolt Gun Rifle Match is next Sunday, the same as the High Power Matches: gate opens at 8 am, first shot at 9, or 1:00 after lunch, first shot at 1:30.
