Even though we thought the weather had to get warmer for the April match, it snowed! Even at that, we had some nice scores by some and some humility delivered to others. I lost a shot on my off hand target.
Ben Jendruczak’s 98-4X standing score was the nicest off hand target I have ever seen! Last month he had some trouble with his sights – maybe he thought he had something to prove. He did! Jeff Lewis shot his best score to date to finish toward the top of the pack. We even had an international shooter from Japan (an Edinboro University student). Recalling the firearms restrictions at the Tokyo Olympics, I’m sure it was his first experience at high power rifle shooting.
The Springs Rod & Gun Club thanks all who participated
and invites you back. Bring a
friend on May 29th.
