We had an overcast, rainy day for this match with the rain coming after lunch.  It really didn’t bother much.

Several guys shot their best scores of late.  Steve McQuiston shot a nice 450-7X with his 03A3.  Gary Wilson’s 409-1X is, I think, the best score we have seen shot with a.22 at the Springs rod & Gun Club.  Dave Dunkle’s 458-5X in the National Match class wasn’t anything to sneeze at either.

All in all, I thought things went well and the shooters all had fun.  That is what these matches are all about.

Don’t forget about the Terry Williams Bolt Gun Match next Sunday, October 14, 2012.

Remember you can check your scores on the Springs Rod & Gun Club web site:  www.springsrodandgunclub.org or check out the Gem City Gun club web site: www.jjgun.com

Thanks again for coming today.
