A cool, but nice day. No rain! There were several interesting happenings today.
Phil Right shot a Marlin .22 given to him by his father when he was eight-years
old, he is sixty-three now – it was a used rifle then. Since it was a single
shot he was alloted as much time as he needed to complete each stage of the
match. It is nice that he brought a rifle like that and shot it too!!Joe Shrader
ran out of ammo and skipped eight shots in his rapid prone – I think there were
a dozen or so 8mm cartridges in the clubhouse. I wasn't at the match so nobody
knew that. Anyway, a good time was had by all attending. Dave says he gave Todd
Burr a gold star at the top of his score sheet for no mistakes – are we all that
bad at arithmetic?
