A beautiful day, a bit hot, mainly high humidity.

Last month we talked about .22 rimfire being a cheap way to compete at 100 yards. Low and behold the first relay was split with five rimfire shooters and five centerfire shooters.

Dan Gruver shot a nice 441-7X to win the National Match Class. Matt Smith shot a very nice 444-5X with his Ruger Bolt gun on the service rifle target. Matt shot “bucket ammo”, Remington Hollow Point, and didn't even use the extra time for bolt guns. John Kolacz only had 19 shots on his slow prone target – did he have a double hit? For a first, Ellie Foor spotted for her husband. We had never had a true spotter before. Caleb Olczak and Greg Evans had 178's in slow prone. Nicely done!

All in all, things are getting better.

Thanks for coming.

Pete & Dave
